Bikaneri Chokhla Wool - The Best carpet wool? - Featured in International Carpet Yearbook 2011
This breed of sheep was coined by our MD Mr KC Bothra. The wool from this sheep is having the perfect balance of lustre & resiliency for carpet yarns. Unfortunately due to poor government policies the wool is not available huge quantity.
Of late during Dec 2010, a project has been sanctioned by Govt of India for conservation of this breed after a struggle of 50 years by our MD Mr KC Bothra. This project will identify and promote this sheep breed scientifically.
Currently we produce a blend of this wool alongwith other wools. This wool is ideal for both woollen carded yarns & semi worsted yarns.
Our buyers in Europe are using yarn blended with Bikaner Chokhla wools since past several years.

Bikaner Woollen Mills is an independent family owned company with third generation already in Business. Bikaner Woollen mills was established in 1958 to supply carpet woollen yarn to customers across the Globe. We have technically qualified sales & production team with several years of experience. Our Production director has undergone several practical training sessions in leading mills of England to maintain world class work culture and to ensure international acceptable quality yarn.
 
We are India’s most experienced carpet woollen yarn spinners with state of art machinery to produce both carded and Semi worsted carpet woollen yarns in 100% wool, 80:20 wool nylon and 80:10:10 wool rich blends for broadloom tufting, Axminster & Wilton carpets. We also produce 100% polyester yarn for apparels in regular & flame retardant types of polyester.
 
Our sister concern BWM International is producer of fine handknotted carpets, Handtufted rugs and Broadloom carpets. They are makers of Guinness book enlisted "Finest Carpet of the World" with 2600 knots per square inch. They are specialist producers of Antique finish carpets using hand spun yarns and vegetable dyes.
