Post spinning processing of carpet woollen yarn
After spinning and also if required after dyeing, the yarn is forwarded to twisting and winding department where the yarn is processed as per requirements of the customer.
Twisting:
The twisting is a procedure when single yarn is converted into two/three/four/more fold yarn. Twisted yarns not only gives better results but also has more breaking strength than a single yarn. Our twisting frame is equipped with individual end detector for broken ends and automatic braking device for individual spindles ensuring even twisting.
Winding:
The yarn is processed on winding machine to wind yarn on cones/tubes as per customer specifications. For the customer desiring scoured/dyed yarns, the scoured/dyed hanks are passed to hank to cone winder to wind yarn back on cones. We can supply fixed length yarn to minimise your wastage. The yarn can be electronically scanned to remove faulty part of the yarn for critical applications.
Reeling:
The Reeling is a procedure which converts yarn into commerically portable form. The outcome of reeling is called hanks or skeins. It is normally done after twisting/Winding to wrap yarn carefully for unwinding it later. The reeled yarn is carefully tie-banded to control fibres during handling, scouring, Dyeing and unwinding.
