Scouring of the Carpet yarn |
|
After spinning, if required, the finished yarn is forwarded to scouring department. The yarn hanks are then washed through a conveyor based scouring machine. The conveyors passes through 6 tanks of water, soap and chemicals. Each tank is equipped with a pair of pneumatic squeezing rollers at exit end of the tank and three submarine rollers. These rollers squeeze dirt, oil, soap and water out of the yarn. The process is a six- stage process one stage in each tank. The yarn after scouring is then processed in a hydro extractor. The Hydro extractor spins at very high RPM thus creating a centrifugal force, which extracts water out of wet hanks, just like your washing machine does to remove water of the clothes. After hydro extraction the hanks are moved into shades equipped with big exhaust fans. The shades are dry and dark to prevent the Sun Bleaching of the hanks. Lastly the dry hanks are collected and packed as per customer requirement. |
